New Headshots

My sweet niece and nephew needed headshots for their acting endeavors, and so I was able to help out.  Aren't they cute?

I'm lucky to call these awesome kids family :)

Miss A Turns 3!

This is another family that I've been able to get to know better over the years, and they're so fun.  This little girl and her sister make me smile every time I get to see them.  Their personalities are awesome, and just shine through on the photos. 

This little darling loves zebras, as you can tell in the photos.  I love that her mom always brings things to the shoot that are specialized directly for her kids, like the zebra and bubbles and outfits that fit their personalities.  Photographing kids always gives me a workout, but I love bringing out their smiles and the results in the end :)

6 Months Already?

I had the privilege to be the first to photograph this sweet little guy, and it was hard to believe he had already turned 6 months.  This family is such an awesome one, and I'm glad I've been able to get to know them a little bit through photographing them!

At nearly six months, this little man had some great smiles, but was also a sleepyhead.  It was fun to capture that sweetness again.  Thanks for the opportunity!

Miss "E" Turns 4

You probably recognize this cute face, since she's been on my blog a few times before.  She's such a cutie, and I love that I get to see her grow up in photos.  And how about that outfit, isn't it just perfect for a 4 year old?  Her mom is awesome.  Now on to more photos...

I love this next one, as she jumps through the air.  To me it just captures childhood and joy.

Happy 5th Birthday!

This sweet girl just turned five, and her parents are so good at capturing those moments for all their FIVE girls. We had fun being silly and giggling lots. She even drew a picture for me at the end. Isn't she sweet?

I love her sweet expression in this one. She's such a cutie, and so full of personality! Kids are such a joy to photograph...I'm lucky to be able to do this.

Picture a Day, Day 28

Last day!!! This has been a good adventure...I've learned a lot about shooting indoors and I've learned that I love taking photos of kids. They're just so precious! So on that note, I decided to end with all my kids together. That was certainly an adventure, but I love the final result.

picture a Day, Day 27

Sorry this post is a day late, but I hope it's worth the wait. My poor kids have been photographed a lot this month, and when I asked my youngest he didn't want to take photos, until I pulled the stuffed animals out...then he was actually pretty excited. So here are the results...

Picture a Day, Day 25

Today a friend brought her daughter over for some quick pics. She's a mama's girl and thus struggled a bit at first, but we were finally able to coax some smiles out of her. Isn't she a cutie?





Mom's phone helped bring the smiles out
