Growing Up...

So just for fun a while back my daughter and I stepped outside for some photos.  Lucky for me, she enjoys having her picture taken, and of course I love taking it!  The scary thing for me this time, though, is looking through the lens I see something more, and that is a young woman who is growing up.  As I showed my husband the photos, he would say "I'm okay with that one.  That one's not okay," based on how old she looked.  It's a reminder to me, again, of how quickly time flies, and how important it is for me to capture my little ones before they're all grown up.  As I witnessed with meeting my brand new nephew yesterday, even a two year old looks huge compared to a newborn.  They grow so fast!  Enough sentimentality on my part.  On with the photos!

Okay, seriously.  Can I have her hair?  I love it!
