I'm lucky as a mom, and photographer, to have a daughter who likes when we do a mini photo shoot, and this one was her idea. Normally her hair is curly, but she'd had it cut and straightened and wanted a school-based shoot since she was graduating from elementary school. I'm glad she did. I love having these images of my kids, they are the reason I started photography in the first place.
