Back to School, part 1

I wanted to get some pics of all of my kids for back to school, and since she is usually the most willing candidate, I started with my sweet daughter. It's hard to believe she'll be starting junior high next year...man, the time flies. I feel so blessed to have her as my daughter, though, and wanted to share a few of the photos we got with you!

Love those eyes...I'll be sharing those from my other kids soon, along with other shoots.  It's been a busy Fall!

    The last one. I love eyes, especially children's eyes.

    Two questions:

    1. What kind of camera/lenses do you use? I'm looking into upgrading my camera soon, and so I'm asking around to find out what really good photographers are using.
    2. Where do you recommend getting prints done for larger (8x10 and bigger) portraits for framing?

    Nancy, thanks! I use a Canon 7D with multiple lenses, but probably my favorite for individuals is the 50mm. For prints, a local company that's great is Replicolor. Have fun with the upgrade!
